Bar codes for Retail Items
Each retail item can have anything from no bar codes up to many bar codes.
To enter new bar codes for the retail item:
- Select Retail > Retail items > Retail items;
- Select the retail item and open its card;
- Select tab Bar codes;
- Use the Add button
to create a new bar code number.
Note:
- The field Bar code setup allows you to set up the default bar code for the item.
- The Bar code setup field is mandatory when entering new bar codes for the item. It is possible to select another entry for individual bar codes.
- Only one bar code can be marked as the default bar code, which is displayed on the general tab.
